Golden Dawn MP Christos Pappas was remanded custody pending trial after his testimony that lasted some five hours. Pappas is the third Golden Dawn MP in custody after GD leader Nikos Michaloliakos and Yiannis Lagos.
Pappas told the judges that the charges were politically motivated.
However the judges consider that they had evidence that the three in custody had formed a criminal organization.
Michaloliakos is allegedly the leader, Pappas the deputy leader.
Three more GD MPs – Ilias Kasidiaris, Ilias Panagiotaros and Nikos Michos – were released on bail Wednesday. Their released triggered an outcry in Greece and abroad.
