I think that’s the joke of the day: The head of EU-Taskforce Horst Reichenbach declared, he was impressed by the reforms done by the Greeks and especially by the reforms in the Greek health sector.
I suppose, neither Reichenbach nor any of the several dozen consultants who have rushed to Athens in order to save Greece, has ever needed to stand on one leg for many hours at the narrow corridors of overcrowded public hospitals. Neither did any of them had to have his life-saving medication prescription and found the doctor’s door closed due to the EOPYY strike – now on the second month and expected to be extended until at least, February 7th.
Neither did their doctors slammed the door right on their face, because the doctor’s monthly limit for visits and prescription was reached. Under the successful reforms, doctors are allowed to prescribe 20% less medication than in 2013.
