More than 2,500 children formed a human chain and embraced the Acropolis on Friday morning on the occasion of World Day Against Racism.”We embrace the Acropolis, we embrace Democracy, we embrace Humanity, we embrace the World” was the message sent by the children to the world.
There were children from several schools, children with different nationalities, children with disabilities. They sent their message of ” coexistence in peace without discrimination” singing songs.
At the end of the action they released 2,000 colorful balloons that took the peaceful message across the Attica sky. The action was organized by the General Secretariat of Transparency and Human Rights.
