This year Santa Claus will be dressed in purple. The color of Stray.gr, the Non-profit-organization for the Protection and Care of Strays (Stray.gr). Lots of new and used -but in good condition – items, educational activities for the children and lottery will be offered during the annual Christmas Bazaar for the benefit of the thousands if not millions stray animals in the country. In times of economic crisis the Non-Profit Organization needs every help and support it can get in order to continue its hard work that is treating, sterilizing and promoting the adoption of stray animals.
The annual Christmas Bazaar is the main source of revenues of the stray.gr.

KTG is a bit late on posting about the Bazaar, but nevertheless Stray.gr needed sponsors, donated items and volunteers for the preparation and organization of the bazaar. You can still contact them at e-mail: [email protected] and ask.
Professional companies can offer products and services that can be either sold at the Bazaar or be included in the lottery.
Individuals can offer new and used (in good condition) items such as cloths, jewelery, accessories, books, DVDs, Christmas and other decorative ornaments.
Stray.gr is based on the work of 30 active and 20 occasional volunteers and receives no funding by the state as Greece does not fund animal welfare organizations.
Milos and Kanella, 3-4 months old, were dumped in Messinia, Peloponnese. They need urgent foster care or a furever home.
Since its founding in 2002 Stray.gr has achieved the adoption of 2,500 stray animals. In the year 2013 alone the animal welfare society managed to sterilize and find adoption for 400 strays.
