Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande. The meeting took place at the side of the European Council Summit on Migration.

According to Greek government sources, the three leaders agreed to give more time to Greece to implement the EU-turkey agreement and will provide the country with additional staff from the European institutions to help with the “asylum procedures.”
They also agreed that the EU-Turkey agreement will be in accordance to international law and the Geneva Convention.
the three leaders also stressed that “main priority to operate the agreement is to emphasize the reduction of migration flows.”
PS If I am not wrong, Merkel had also promised Tsipras that the Balkan Route would not close. Ops! That was in the EU Summits in February and beginning of March. Too bad that Austria & Co did not help Merkel keep her promise…
Maybe USA will be forced to open up Kosovo for alternative routes. The EULEX are already there to help out.
