Α group of some 40 people attacked with Molotov cocktail bombs the police station in Exarchia late Sunday afternoon. According to reports, the group threw at least 10 molotov cocktail bombs and stones at the police station at 3:30 p.m., causing material damage at the building front and the guard’s house outside.
Armed with sledgehammers, the attackers also damaged one police car and two private vehicles parked nearby.

The perpetrators flew. They are believed to belong to the anti-authoritarian scene of Athens.
A little later and a couple of meters away, two police motorcycles on patrol came under attack by a group of unidentified perpetrators who initially threw stones and then chair and even tables from a cafeteria. One of motorcycles fell to the ground, the policeman managed to get on his colleague’s motorcycle and both managed to escape the attackers’ fury.

On Friday night, a group of s10 people wearing hoods and armed with sledgehammers and hammers caused material damage to several ticket machines and computers at <Petralona> station of urban train ISAP. A little later and in the same suburb, another group threw bottles at motorized policemen, and set one police motorcycle on fire. Police detained several persons in the area who were released after a while.
It was the fourth attack at train and metro stations in a couple of months.
On Saturday, a group of anarchists raided a supermarket in Vyronas suburb of Athens and stole food and other products.
So far, police has not made any arrests, despite the attacks and raids.
