A sailing boat carrying 93 refugees was spotted off the coast of Parga, Western Greece, on Sunday morning. The majority of passengers were women and children.
The boat had left the beach of Agios Yiannakis, its destination was Italy.
Patrol officers informed the Greek Coast Guard about a suspicious boat in the area.
The Coast Guard stop the boat and led it to the port of Parga.
93 people, among them at least 30 children, went were transferred to the port of Igoumenitsa.
Four people, the human smugglers, have been reportedly arrested.
