An 72-year-old man collapsed during the Macedonia protest in Athens on Sunday. He fainted and fell on the ground right before his friends’ eyes. He was taken to hospital with an ambulance where he died despite the doctors’ efforts.
The man was reportedly member of a local branch of a political party in Keratsini suburb of Piraeus. he had joined the protest rally together with other members of the party.
The man was reportedly suffering from heart problems since quite some time.
