A strong hailstorm stroke several areas in Halkidiki in Northern Greece on Thursday. Especially hit were the areas of Taxiarhis and Polygyros. The hail-and rainstorm created traffic problems on the national roads of Central and North Halkidiki and caused damages to fruit and vegetables, olives and apricots and other cultivation.
