Three hours after the powerful earthquake off Pylos in South Peloponnese, another tremor stroke Thessaloniki, in the North of the country. The Earthquake had a magnitude of 4.2 R and its epicenter was located between villages Askos and Evaggelismos, 30 km North-East of Thessaloniki.
The earthquake occurred at 11:21 a.m. Monday in a depth of just 5 km. A few minutes later, the same epicenter produced another tremor that stroke with magnitude 3.7 R

There are no reports of human injuries and material damages so far.
Scientists follow the seismic activity and appear reassuring.
Seismic activity with aftershock continue in the sea area off Pylos, South-West Peloponnese, where a tremor stroke with 5.5 R at 8:15 Monday morning.
Greek seismologists said the epicenter of Pylos earthquake was on the fault line connecting the tectonic plates of Aegean and Africa.
