According to National Observatory in Athens, although the intensity of the bad weather phenomena will not be very high, cumulative rainfalls are expected mainly in the West and the North-East of the country. combined with the soil that has been saturated with rainwater due to the last bad weather front, the risk for floods is high.
Affected by the bad weather are Central and Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the islands in the North and East Aegean Sea as well as the Dodecanese. Snow falls are expected in the mountainous and semi-mountainous areas of West Macedonia.
