With an overwhelming majority of votes and a broader consensus of four parties, the government taxation bill passed at the plenary of the Greek Parliament.
The bill was voted by New Democracy, SYRIZA, KINAL/PASOK and the Greek Solution.
Communist party KKE voted “present”, Varoufakis’ MeRA25 voted against the bill in principle and in favor of the 120-installment clause.
The legislation will reduces until 30% the Unified Property Tax (ENFIA) for 2019, and upgrades the 120-installment arrangement for debtors to the state.
