Farewell to a great Lady. 💔
Maro Kondou was the definition of refinement, positive energy, kindness and strength. A woman who combined kindness with strength, and talent with hard work, winning the love of the world from her very first appearance on screen, in 1954, while she was still a student at the National Theater.
A silent appearance, in the film “Happy Beginning” by Finos Film, was enough to magnetize you with her charm, brilliance and doe-like gaze, and to evolve into a brilliant career of 70 years.
