The Greek Civil protection has issued a warning about very high risk of forest and wild fires for Friday, September 13, 2019.
According to Civil Protection warning, the following regions are at ‘very high risk”:
• Attica, Kythera, Sterea, Thessaly, Central and East Macedonia, North and South Aegean, Crete and the Peloponnese.
Orange marks “very high risk” and Yellow “high risk.”
Prolonged dry weather and stormy winds up to 9 Beaufort forecast for Friday, increase the risk of forest and wild fires.
