An unbelievable claim made publicly by Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu. “Greece has been firing at refugee boats, sinking them in the Aegean, people are drowned, others forcibly return to Turkey wounded,” Cavusoglu said during a joint press conference with his German counterpart, Heiko Mass, in Ankara on Saturday.

The Turkish Foreign Minister did not bother to bring evidence to prove his claim was real and not just a typical “Turkish claim.”
This was not the only “diplomatic” by the Turkish Foreign Minister, though.
He called on Germany to act in line with the “spirit of alliance” on Turkey’s anti-terrorism operation in northern Syria.
“What we expect from Germany is that it acts in line with the spirit of alliance,” he said during the same presser.
He added that the “YPG/PKK terror group’s affiliates in Germany had harassed and attacked Turkish citizens.”
He urged German security officials to act against such elements, Turkish media report.
“Turkey is the country most sensitive to issues of Syria’s territorial integrity and voluntary return of refugees,” he said, adding that some countries — including Israel and France — placed little importance on Syria’s territorial integrity when it was YPG/PKK terrorists trying to divide the country.
Çavuşoglu also noted that Turkey does not find the German proposal on the international safe zone in Syria realistic.
“It will be more beneficial if we can focus on humanitarian issues,” he said.
