“It was a sudden loud noise and we saw the wind lifting heavy objects of 60 kilos. We did not know what to do,” said the owner of Papadimiriou factory in Thuria by Kalamata in southern Peloponnese.
The sixty workers of the factory were in panic, window glasses broke.
“It was lasted just 3-4 minutes,” Papadimitriou told Alpha TV on Tuesday.
The mini tornado hit the factory on Monday. Security cameras captured the powerful phenomenon.
In the text accompanying the video, the company thanks everyone for their “love and support.”
“We feel very fortunate that although we were all in the factory at the time of the incident, we are all well. The damage was, fortunately, only material. We’re sharing the video with you from the factory cameras, in order to make us all aware of the climate change. “
