Greece’s annual Winter Sales kicked off on Monday, January 13, and will run until Wednesday, February 29, 2020.
Stores will be open also on the first Sunday of the winter sales on January 19, with opening hours to have been scheduled between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The Greek Association of Retail Enterprises urges consumers to check with the reduced prices, products must tag both the old and new prices as well as the percentage of reduction.
Many Greeks usually do window shopping before the Sales start and purchase the products as soon as they start.
Retailers told media that some consumers give a bit of a deposit before the Winter Sales commence in order to make a “reservation” for their favorite purchase.
