China has donated 50,000 masks for the needs of the Greek national Health system on Wednesday, while another, a bigger load is expected to arrive on upcoming Saturday.
“The crisis lies before us.is ahead of us. The next few days, weeks and months will be difficult and we all need to be very serious and very responsible in dealing with it,” Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias said after his visit to the People’s Republic of China embassy, where Ambassador Qiyue Zhang handed over the 50,000 masks for the needs of the National Health System.
Kikilias thanked the Ambassador, the Chinese government and the Chinese community for their contribution to addressing the Public Health crisis Greece is facing.

“This is a first small sample. On Saturday morning, a significantly bigger sample from Chinese companies and the Chinese government will arrive with a Air China flight at the Athens International Airport,” the Minister added
For one more time the Health Minister stressed that people must stay home and take all measures of personal protection, they must take care of themselves and especially the vulnerable groups of the population.
