Greek police has arrested five migrants who had left a reception and accommodation center placed under quarantine due to confirmed cases of coronavirus.
The migrants were arrested at the metro station <Stathmos Larissis> on Friday and were reportedly about to get on broad on a train.
Following their arrest, the five were transported in a special van back to Malakassa accommodation center in East Attica.
The van was disinfected after use.
A court file was drawn up and a fine imposed on each of the arrestees for violation of the restriction measures to contain the spread of the virus.
The migration hotspot was placed on lockdown on Wednesday after one person was tested positive to coronavirus.
