Ten new confirmed coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours have increased the number of total infections to 2, 736, Greece’s health authorities announced on Monday. No new deaths have been recorded and the death toll remains at 151. It is the second consecutive day, where no COVID-19 patient passed away.
Of the 2,726 total infections, 55.5% are men.
607 infection cases (22.3%) are considered to be related to travel abroad and 1,374 (50.4%) are related to an already known case.
32 patients are intubated in hospitals intensive care units, 12 of them are women (37.5%). The average age of intubated patients is 67.
96.9% of them have underlying health issues or is over 70 years old.
87 patients in total have been discharged from the ICUs. Of the discharged patients 37 were women (26.4%).
Among the 151 dead, 40 were women (26.4%).
The average age of the deceased was 74.
93.4% of them had an underlying health problem and were older than 70.
A total of 99,363 COVID-19 tests have been conducted since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak in late February.
