Thirteen new coronavirus cases and one more death, have been announced by Greece’s health authorities on Monday evening. The 13 new cases and another 9 on Sunday have raised the number of total infections t0 3,134.
Death toll stand at 184, after a patients from Echinos in Xanthi, north-eastern Greece, passed away. It is the first death since almost a week ago.
Among the new cases are reportedly 7 in Xanthi, which is under restriction measures, 1 in Drama, northern Greece, while another one was a passengers on a flight.
55.2% of the total infected people are men.
Of the total cases, 697 are related to travel abroad and 1,781 were infected by already known cases.
13 patients are intubated in hospitals Intensive Care Units. Their average age is 74, among them are four women. 69.2% of them have underlying health issues or are over 70 years old.
A total of 117 patients have been discharged from intensive care units.
Among the deceased were 56 women.
Average age of the deceased 76.
95.6% of the deceased had underlying health problem and/or were over 70 years old.
