Greece is opening all its border-crossings to all its neighboring countries in the North, including to Turkey in the North-East and its ports to ships from abroad on July 1, 2020.
Government spokesman Stelios Petsas announced on Monday, that the entrance gates at Evzoni, Kakavia, Krystallopigi, Promachonas, Nymfaia, Kastania and Kipi will open on July 1, 2020.
He added that on the same date, “the arrival of ships from abroad to Greek ports will be allowed.”
He stressed that “the government will ensure the maximum possible protection of the health of workers in the industry, residents in tourist destinations.” He added that phenomena of relaxation of the protection measures will not be allowed.
On July 1, the country opens also all its regional airports to direct flights from abroad. However, flights form UK and Sweden are banned until July 15.
