Greece’s Culture Ministry opens archaeological sites and museums on Monday night for the August 3rd full moon. A series of events will be held in 37 of the 77 museums and archaeological sites throughout Greece.
As on every other year, the Culture Ministry has organized an events programme and will open up museums and archaeological sites to the public for a summer night under the light of the August full moon.
In a statement, the Ministry noted that existing health protocols and safety measures to protect against the spread of COVID-19 will apply at all events and visits to the sites and the museums on Monday.
Last year, over 60,000 people attended the events or visited archaeological sites and museums to enjoy the August full moon, the culture ministry said.
