Temperatures remain unseasonally high in Greece in the first week of September, following a heatwave in late August. The current temperatures are already well above the normal levels for this time of the year, the meteo service of Athens National Observatory said.
For example, temperature in Athens on Tuesday, Sept 1, was 8 degrees Celsius higher than normal levels and will remain high until Friday, Sept 4, at least.
