Dec 31: 932 new cases – 50 deaths – 438 intubations
Jan 1: 597 new cases – 43 deaths – 429 intubations
It looks as if the “epidemiological surveillance” falls short these days Dec 31-Jan 4) as over Christmas+weekend (Dec 24 -28) due to fewer testing.
Note:
1)It looks as if those involved in in EODY’s communication office are still in New Year/long weekend mood as they haven’t uploaded neither the official daily statement and analytical report on EODY website today (Sat) but just sent to to media. Therefore, today’s information here is not as complete as usual.
2) While EODY was separately reporting on women (intubated & deceased) only, since the outbreak in late Feb 2020, it now reports about men only.
