Greece’s Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis said on Wednesday that the opening of tourism will depend of the progress of vaccination in the country.
Speaking to state broadcaster ERT, Theoharis said “we have drawn up a plan on how tourism will open, to which is included a provision for the people working in tourism to be vaccinated as a priority.”
He underlined that “the plan of action will be examined by the experts and the opening of tourism will depend on the progress of vaccination in Greece.”
Greece ‘s Minister Thεοharis added that the government will continue to support entrepreneurs and employees in the tourism sector with emergency economic measures.
