Greece’ National Meteorological Service issued a weather warning on a weather deterioration with heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms, locally hail-falls and gale-force south winds that will reach up to 9 Beaufort.
The bad weather front arrives in Greece from the west late on Sunday night, February 7, 2021.

Monday, Feb 8
Morning hours: islands in the Ionian Sea, Epirus, West Sterea and gradually West Peloponnese. Phenomena to weaken as of late afternoon.
From noon: East Macedonia, Thrace, gradually islands of eastern Aegean Sea and possibly also Dodecanese. Phenomena weakening as form the evening hours.
Tuesday, Feb 9
Late afternoon: Ionian islands, Epirus, West Sterea and West Peloponnese. Weakening of phenomena early morning hours of Wed, Feb 10.
From evening hours until early morning Wed affected will be the East Aegean islands and possibly also Thrace.
Winds
South winds will be blowing with intensity of 7-8 Beaufort in the Aegean and up to 9 B locally on Monday
