An 18-year-old tourist has been seriously injured and is hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the hospital of the island of Rhodes since early morning hours of Friday. The teenager from Germany had fallen from the roof top of a villa she and her friends have been renting in the area in the islands south.
The girl has been seriously injured in the head and doctors performed an emergency operation in an effort to keep her alive.
According to local newspaper rodiaki, the ambulance service received a call short after 12 midnight. The call to emergency line <112> was made by other members of the group.
Police investigates the circumstances under which the tragic incident took place, the prosecutor has been activated. The girl’s friends are to give testimonies to the local authorities.
