An earthquake stroke with 4.4 on the Richter scale Monday midnight. The epicenter was off the Loutra of Oraia Eleni in the regional unit of Corinth, some 20 km South-East of the town in northern Peloponnese.
According to preliminary information its focal depth was 5 km.
The earthquake was felt strongly also in Greek capital Athens, 54 km away in the East, where is was felt for some 3 to 5 seconds.

No injuries or material damages have been reported so far.
