Greece’s authorities imposed a mini lockdown to the island of Ikaria, Deodecanse, as well as the regional units of Achaia and Ilia, Peloponnese with the aim to contain the spread of the coronavirus. At the same time, they extended the restrictions in the regional unit of Messinia, Peloponnse, and of Heraklio on the island of Crete.
Restrictions on Ikaria, Achaia and Ilia are in effect from today, Friday, September 3, until 6 a.m. on September 10, 2021
The mini lockdown measures are:
Night curfew from 01:00 a.m. until 06:00 a.m. with the exception for work or health reasons
Music ban in bars, restaurants, beach bars, entertainment parks and other venues except at wedding and christening receptions, a ministerial decision ruled.
At the same time, authorities extended the restrictive measures for Covid in the regions of Messinia and Heraklio, Crete, until September 10, 2021.
