Greece’s health authorities announced on Sunday 1,100 new coronavirus cases and 24 deaths in the last 24 hours. The number of intubated Covid-patients slightly increased to 337.
As usual, the number of PCR and Rapid tests is much lower due to weekend.

Since the pandemic began, Greece has confirmed 645,969 infections (daily change: +0.2%).
In the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 111 infections are related to travel from abroad and 3,609 to other confirmed cases.
24 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of pandemic victims to 14,679. Of these, 95.4% had an underlying health condition and/or were aged 70 or over.
A total of 337 patients are on ventilators in hospitals – 333 a day earlier. Their median age is 65 years and 81.6%pct have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or over. 63.5% are men.
Of the 337 intubated Covid-patients: 303 (89.91%) are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated and 30 (8.52%) are fully vaccinated.
3,129 Covid-patients have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
191 Covid-patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours. The average admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 185.
The median age of new infections is 39 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 78 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
