Greece’s health authorities announced on Monday 2,130 new coronavirus cases and 47 deaths in the past 24 hours.  The number of intubated Covid-patients in hospital Intensive Care Units decreased to 323.

At the Live Briefing on vaccinations on Monday, health authorities reminded that the platform for the booster shot to everyone over 60 years old will open on September 30, 2021. The booster shot should be received 6 months after the second dose, health authorities said.

  • Arcadia, Serres, Xanthi, Ilia, Pella, Fokida, Evrytania, Drama, western Attica, Pieria, Kilkis.

Themistokleous said that Greece has scheduled to receive 27.576 million vaccine shots in 2021. He added that the country has donated 1.54 million AstraZeneca doses to ten countries, among them to Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia, Libya, Kenya and Egypt.
