Greece’s health authorities announced on Tuesday 2,876 new coronavirus cases and 34 deaths in the past 24 hours. The number of intubated Covid-patients in hospital Intensive Care Units stands at 334.
A prosecutor in northern Greece has ordered investigation into the case of a 14-year-old girl that was not taken to hospital despite doctors’ recommendations. The girl and the parents are not vaccinated against the Covid-19, they have all been infected and the parents did not follow the doctors’ advise for admission. Ultimately, the girl that had high fever over the period of several days was taken to hospital where she remains and is being treated.
The Greek government prepares a package of measures to allow fully vaccinated citizens return to normality. The measures are expected to be announced tomorrow Wednesday.

A total of 334 Covid-patients – from 342 a day earlier – are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 66 years. 61.4% are men. 80.5% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or more.

34 (10.18%) are fully vaccinated
