Greece’s health authorities announced on Wednesday 2,338 new coronavirus cases and 31 deaths in the past 24 hours. The number intubated Covid-patients in hospital Intensive Care Units increased to 343.

There are 31 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, the total of pandemic victims 15.241. Of these, 95.4% had an underlying condition and/or were 70 years old.
A total of 343 Covid-patients – from 336 a day earlier – are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 67 years. 62.1% are men. 80.5% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or more.

The median age of new infections is 39 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 78 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
