Self-tests for minors in Greece’s mixed venues as of Sat, Nov 6

Greece’s Health Minister Thanos Plevris said on Thursday that unvaccinated minors will have to show a negative self-test for Covid-19 in order to enter venues with mixed -vaccinated and unvaccinated – customers as the new measures go into effect on Saturday, November 6.

Speaking to ANT1 TV, Plevris said that the self-test will be necessary for minors up to 18 years old.

Greece offers vaccinations to 12-17 years old since a couple of weeks but theirs response is apparently not a satisfying one.

According to the new restrictions for unvaccinated adults will need to show a negative RAPID or PCR test for entertainment, venues, restaurants, banks, public services, hair- and nail -salons and shopping with exception supermarkets and pharmacies.

The new restrictions aim to halt the spread of the coronavirus in the country, as daily infections break one record after the other since last Saturday.
