According to military affairs website armyvoice, Turkey “scans” the Greek airspace and collects data from parts of the Greek territory and has increasingly uses this new tactics since the beginning of 2022.
According to the information of the General Staff of National Defense, the Turkish Air Force committed on Sunday, February 6, 2022, a total of 60 violations of national airspace and 2 violations of the Athens FIR. by two unmanned UAVs.
Of the 60 violations, 4 are the overflights carried out by a UAV unmanned aerial vehicle over Astakida by Kasos and Kandelioussa. The above aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, in accordance with established practice.
