Coronavirus cases in Greece dropped to 11,061 in the last 24 hours but the number of Covid-related deaths remains high as health authorities announced 65 deaths in the same period and incorporated another 5 from previous days.
The number of intubated Covid-patients in hospitals across the country decreased to 345 from 356 a day earlier.

The number of possible new re-infections in the last 24 hours is 232 while the total number of re-infections since the start of SARS-CoV-2 is estimated to 119,546 (3.6% of the total confirmed infections.)

65+5 = 70 deaths brought the total of pandemic victims to 28,344. Of these, 95.4% had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or over.
345 patients are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 70 years, 65.2% are men and 92.5% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or over.
Of the total in ventilation, 55.65% are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated and 44.35% are fully vaccinated.
4,537 have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
309 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours (daily change: +14.44%). The average daily admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 326.
The median age of new infections is 36 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 79 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
