Mid-season sales kick off with no more Covid-Pass in retail stores

Mid-season sales kick off in Greece on Tuesday, May 3 and customers must no longer show a Covid-Pass such a vaccination  or recovery certificate or a negative Rapid test to enter retail shops for their purchases.

Mid-season sales run until May 15, 2022, and retail shops will be open also on Sunday, May 8, when they have the option to operate from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Commercial stores opened today after the May Day holiday and with the lifting of the Covid-Pass measure since May 1.

It should be recalled that the use of mask is mandatory inside shops.

The use of mask remains mandatory indoors until the end of the month and the measure may be lifted depending on the course of the pandemic in the country.

The mask is not mandatory outdoors, however, there is strong recommendation for its use where there is crowding.

It is worth noting that the use of the mask remains mandatory.

Greece lifted the Covid-Pass for the indoor spaces of restaurants and entertainment venues as well as on international and domestic flights on May 1, 2022.
