PowerPass deadline for electricity rebates extended to July 5

PowerPass applications on the online platform where citizens can submit their requests for rebates on electricity bills will be extended to July 5, 2022. The deadline was June 30.

Government spokesman Giannis Oikonomou made the announcement on Twitter early Tuesday afternoon.

Due to the continuous flow of applications and in order to facilitate the citizens, an extension is given until July 5 for the submission of aid applications to deal with the increase in electricity consumption (power pass) on the relevant platform,  The deadline was June 30.

Citizens with annual income up to 45,000 euros can apply for the rebates and receive from minimum €18 to maximum €600 for electricity bills issued from 1. December 2021 until 30. May 2022.

Note that meanwhile, the PowerPass platform is open for all end-numbers of the tax number.
