A decline in energy cost must be rapidly reflected on Greek households’ and enterprises’ energy bills, Yiannis Masoutis, president of the Union of Hellenic Chambers said on Thursday.
“It is a top priority that needs to become reality, without any delay, to rapidly reflect a decline in energy cost (electricity and natural gas) onto households’ and enterprises’ energy bills,” Masoutis said.
Ηe added that the period was favorable, ahead of the beginning of the winter with lower temperatures, which means that energy needs will rise for the society and enterprises.
Masoutis said the Union of Hellenic Chambers demands that energy costs should fall relatively to international and domestic prices, allowing enterprises to focus on the development and investment outlook.
