A 91-year-old man shot with a fire gun his daughter-in-law, injuring her in the face. After the incident, the perpetrator was found dead in his home in Sintiki by his son.
According to state broadcaster ERT, the man shot at his daughter-i- law with a Flaubert type shotgun.
The 62-year-old victim has been transferred to a hospital in Thessaloniki from Serres where the shooting took place late on Tuesday morning. Her life is not in danger.
According to some local media, sometime after the shooting the son went to his father’s home seeking explanations and found him dead.
According to local media, the old man had taken his own life.
The incident is being further investigated by Police Authorities.
