For a second day within a week Greece will be paralyzed due to a 24-hour strike of the public and private sector unions demanding justice foe the train collision victims and safe transport in the country.
Journalists are holding a 24-hour strike on Wednesday, March 15, in order to be able to cover the protests on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
Workers at public transport take also part on the strike on Thursday, even though with work stoppages, to facilitate protesters join the rallies.
Public buses and Trolley buses in Athens will operate as usual from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
50 public buses in Thessaloniki will be in operation, while the routes of the night line of the Airport (N1) and the special service for the disabled will operate as usual.
KTEL intercity buses will operates as usually.
Metro Lines 1 (ISAP), 2 and 3 as well as the Tram will operate from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Union of Air Traffic Controllers on 24-hour strike from 00:01 Thursday until 24:00 Thursday. Aegean and Olympic Air have announced the cancellation of their scheduled domestic and international flights.
Ships and Ferries will remain docked from 00:01 until 24:00 Thursday, March 16.

Public administration services including schools will reportedly shut down as well as some private sector facilities as also the Union of workers at catering and tourism will join the strike.
