Temperatures of over 80 degrees Celsius in parked cars in Athens have been detected by thermal cameras as the heatwave “Cleon” peaks over the , with maximum temperatures reaching up to 42-43 degrees Celsius in places.
Images taken with thermal cameras and drone and uploaded by EnternityGR on Facebook place showed temperatures ranging from 66.5°C up to 84°C in a parked car in Athens.
Temperature on the car top seems to be 84°C, while on the sides it is up to 70.1°C.
In another picture, temperature of the asphalt ranges from 57.5°C to 62.3°C.

it is not known exactlyin which area in Athens such temperatures were recorded.
