In the context of the celebration of World Lighthouse Day on Sunday, August 20, 2023 , Greece’s Navy open again lighthouses across the country for the public to visit.the following lighthouses will be open to the public:
During the visit, citizens will have the opportunity to learn about the contribution of Lighthouses to the safety of Navigation, the utilization of the Lighthouse network as a cultural heritage as well as the contribution of the Lighthouse Keepers to the operation of said network.
The following Lighthouses on the mainland and on islands will be open to public:

Mudari – Kythira
Vrysaki – Lavrio
Gerogombos – Kefalonia
Gourouni – Skopelos
Drepano – Chania
Kassandra – Halkidiki
Kastri – Othonoi
Schinari – Zakynthos
Kranai – Gythio
Megalo Embolo – Thessaloniki
Melagavi – Loutrakiou
Plaka – Lemnos
Korakas – Paros
Kokkinopulo – Psara
Alexandroupolis – Alexandroupolis
Tainaro – Laconia
Kopraina – Artas
Kaki Kefali – Halkida
Monemvasia – Laconia
Lakka – Paxos
Vasilina – Evia
Pappa – Ikaria
Spathi – Serifos
Dukato – Lefkada
Katakolo – Ilias

Possibility of visiting is from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00.
