The 66-year-old German national was walking with her husband when she was carried away by the winds and the waves coming ashore. She ended in the sea and was drowned inside the port of Kyparissia, local media reported on Sunday evening.
Men from the coast guard and rescuers from the ambulance rushed to the area, but it was already too late.
