Greek police has arrested a 56-year-old man after his partner and her teenager daughter accused him of raping the child since she was 8 years old.
Mother and daughter appeared at the local police station in Patisia district of Athens and filed a complaint against the man who is an Albanian national.
Furthermore, the man had convinced the teenager to send him at least one naked picture and he was threatened her to make it public on social media where he was also connected with the girl.
It was the victim’s mother who discovered the picture on her daughter’s mobile phone, media reported.
Police investigation showed that the man was sexually abusing the girlfrom the age of 8 continuously for at least the past seven years. He had also allegedly collected and uploaded on online platforms pornographic material of the minor victim.
Four days after the complaint, police arrested the man on Saturday morning.was arrested on Saturday morning.
During search in the man’s house, police confiscated multiple digital evidence as well as air rifle.
Facing charges of child pornography, rape and abuse of a minor, the 56-year-old man is to be taken to prosecutor.
