Twelve vehicles, among them five school buses, private cars and motorbikes were set ablaze in an arson attack in the Zografou district of central Athens, shortly after 3 a.m. on Thursday.
Nobody was injured and no one has been arrested.
The fire is believed to have started from the school buses and spread to the other vehicles, destroying five school busses, three private cars and three motorcycles, while it damaged six more vehicles, all parked on Taxilou Street.
The school busses belong to a private school located on the same street. Television footage from the area showed that the flames had reached the school’s wall.

Desperate residents watched helpless the flames burning their properties.
The damage caused by the arson is still incalculable, while the arsonists are believed to be young people from the nearby campus in Zografou.
According to newsit.gr, the arsonists came out of the Campus, poured flammable materials on the vehicles and set them on fire, many of them have been completely destroyed.
It was the second arson in the area that completely destroyed 5 vehicles last Sunday.
