Traffic restrictions will be temporarily implemented in Athens and Attica due to the Olympic Torch Relay and the handover to the Paris 2024 Olympic Committee at the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro) on Friday, April 26.
Restrictions will be implemented at different time slots during the day, starting 08:00 in Megara, Marathonas, Rafina and Sounio before the relay makes its way to Paleo Faliro, Possidonos Avenue, Kallithea (and the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center), and concluding at 18:30 at the area around Syntagma Square and the Stadium.
Stopping and parking will be forbidden on affected roads and drivers are reminded to follow traffic police directions.
