A prisoner was killed and a second inmate was injured in a fight that broke out shortly after 13:00 on Wednesday in the fourth wing of Korydallos prison in Athens.

According to the police, a 35-year-old man from Albania was killed and a 45-year-old from Kosovo has been injured and taken to hospital.
Both victims were stabbed with a sharp item, media reported.
Reason for the fight was allegedly whether they should go out to the courtyard, with some of the inmates to have disagreed due to high temperatures.
