Gun shots were fired in the public hospital in Aigio by Corinth, Peloponnese, on Sunday and it seems that police does not have a real clue by Monday afternoon.
The shots were heard by several patients, their accompanying persons and personnel. however, nobody appeared to have understood what had happened.
Eyewitnesses spoke of three gun shots.
An accompanying person called the police that arrived two hours later, Mega TV Lives News reported.
Police investigates, however, the case remains “mysterious” almost 24 hours later.
According to information, An unknown assailant fired three random shots, possibly from the balcony of the Pathology Clinic of the Aegis General Hospital, news website enikos.gr reported early Monday evening.
The perpetrator was not noticed, while he disappeared after the incident.
The shooting did not injured anyone or cause material damage.
Investigators searching the wider area of the hospital did not find any shell casings or bullets..
A case was filed against the unknown assailant for violation of Weapons Legislation and unnecessary shooting.
